THE PROCESS: WHAT TO EXPECT FROM EOLIAN DESIGN.
All clients have different needs, so each deserves an original creative solution. To begin the process, a short preliminary questionnaire is issued so to get some basic information about your company, its' mission, and to define what kind of marketing tool you are looking for, (i.e. Corporate logo, website, brochures, etc.) followed by a Design Development Agreement. Immediately upon approval of the Design Agreement and completed questionnaire, the "brainstorm" process begins by producing and presenting a series of original "e-drafts" (thumbnails) in stages. Each stage is carried through by designer and client via email correspondence with approvals of each stage that ultimately forms a strong conceptual, consistent, theme to establish your company branding.

RATES.
Please contact for rates. Pricing and turn around time is dependent on the type of services rendered. These terms would be clearly established in the design development agreement before the process begins so there will be no hidden fees. We do not list "pre-priced" packages simply for the reason that the design is not "pre-packaged." Each process is originally created from start to finish for the specific client. The design is created specifically to your needs and your 100% satisfaction is what we strive for.

TURNAROUND TIME.
"Time is of the essence" and this is true for the client as well as the designer. Eolian Design is devoted to creating original, professional work within a reasonable time frame. We generally do not produce $20 logos in 1-2 days. The turn-around time for corporate logos and website design is usually 3 – 4 weeks. The process is thorough and brainstorming strong concepts through original design, illustration, and client approvals is time-sensitive. For example, in the development process of a corporate logo, 75 -100 thumbnails may be initially drawn by the designer. This is brainstorming. The designer then selects the best 5 – 10 thumbnail solutions to present to the Client. If you are looking for a quick, "clip-art" logo, Eolian Design is not for you. There are many "fast-food" logo shops that would best suit your needs.

WHAT EOLIAN DESIGN EXPECTS.
To ensure clear, concise communication between designer and client: all involved in making the final decision should be directly involved in the approval process of each stage of e-drafts throughout the design process. (The preliminary questions should be answered by the individual who makes the final decisions and are also the ones who approve each drafting stage.) This removes the risk of miscommunication and will be cost effective for the Client.

Jee An Stablein, founder of Eolian Design, has lived in Charlotte, NC for eleven years. A graduate from the Art Institute of Charlotte and freelanced on a part-time basis for the past five years. In 2005, she launched Eolian Design and currently working full-time as a graphic designer.
